A Day In Vilnius

Hello my dear fuzzie fuzzles!

This week I traveled with my mom to Vilnius, the capital of beautiful Lithuania where people are so friendly, open & organised! I love it <3 We stayed there for 1 day where we were invited to a TV show and interview, it was really fun! We also had some time to look around in the city and go out ^.^
I made some pictures of the journey, so let's have a look! <3

Flying in a pink airplane, yay!

View from the Hotel, which is situated in the heart of the old town.
As you can see, the old town of Vilnius looks  enchanting...! This day really was like being in a cute little fairy tale town <3
This was our (mom and my) Hotel room; I love how Lithuanians hang decorative carpets on the wall! Hungarians do that too, but I haven't seen this kind of wall protection anywhere else. It's really unique!
Even though I didn't sleep a whole night through because of the flight & the shooting, I felt really wow and yay because the bed was so comfy & soft...!

When we arrived at the Hotel we got invited to have a (non-alcoholic, of course haha!) drink at the bar.
So nice!

My breakfast! Yes. This is one breakfast. For meh. All. For. MEH!!!! (SERIOUSLY)

Ok...if you check my blog erry'day you prolly know...no, you KNOW that I'm on this clean eating challenge and that this breakfast (plus the things below but hey I'm not going to spoil the disappointment lol) is NOT entirely clean....AAAHHH!!

Me and my mom in a restaurant in Vilnius!

Yummy! Caesar salad with quail egg <3

This magnum opus of taste bud pleaser is called Pizza Siciliana.
And...my last name is Palermo.
Now you do the math.

Frozen yogurt with mom in the afternoon! I also drank a herbal tea with it, yum yum!
This yo-yo frozen yogurt cafe was soo cute!
You could create your own adorable cup of frozen yogurt & choose how much topping you want! I picked melon, choco and plain frozen yogurt and lots of topping. Uh..what kind of topping? Well, LOTS of topping! ;D

The yo-yo cafe also had a huge TV where they played YouTube videos. A girl who was working there didn't know what to tune in to next so I asked if I can choose something. Guess it: I played my own videos, lol! The ones I played were Venus Desu, Peanuts, Popcorn & Real Life Anime: Cupcakes!
They liked my videos, yay!

Lacy = dolly window of an artwork gallery.
In the old city of Vilnius, there are many art galleries, especially ones focusing on glass & stone art!

As you can observe...the weather was perfect!
The old city of Vilnius small, cute, clean and has a lot to see!

Vilnius is  like a little doll city!
Like a doll house...but it's a city ;D hehe!

Church of St. Catherine

Magical, isn't it? I always refer to this type of architecture as "tart buildings" hehe...<3

I had an enjoyable time & experience in Vilnius, thank you!
Hopefully I will visit Lithuania again one day and explore more of this exiting country!

Sweet Greetings,
Venus

XOXO

Bra-shaming

Hello.

Today I'm going to write about something rather disturbing...well, at least for me: Bra shopping.
I HAVE to write about it...writing about things helps me to get over with them. So here we go:

Today me and my mom went underwear shopping. I think that this is sooo shameful! But I know it has to be done. I felt very uncomfortable in a shop full of bras and undies! Well, of course I went undies shopping before, but the difference is that the shop we went to this time was sooo much more stylish than the old lady undie store last time. Oh, because last time, I told my mom that I only want grandma underwear, because anything else is too shameful!!!

So...I was in a cabin and tried on one of the more stylish bras. Then I called my mom who was in the other cabin, but mom said she won't come over to check, I should ask the nice assistant lady. I didn't want to ask the assistant lady, because...BECAUSE! Stranger danger. But finally I had no other choice ;_; I was so surprised; she was actually really nice! Also, I was happy that the bra fit!

And not only that...it also made my waist look longer, how cool is that!? But then I realised, that I don't look that bad, so I was scared and started bra-shaming. I told my mom that this is horrible and I hate bras, and that I wanna go back to the grandma bras!!!!!
But mom said "No Venus listen to me, I'm still 22 years older than you, just like yesterday!" and I said: "No mom if you buy this bra I'll never wear it!!!"

Then the assistant lady & my mom laughed & talked about how shy I am, and that there are girls who are more outgoing. And I was like "Whatever! Bras are shameful!"
My mom told me that I should grow up a bit more. But I said: No mom, I want to be kawaii & kinda retarded forever!

I like being kinda retarded & shy, it makes me feel cute ^.^
But what if it is not cute...but really just childish and dumb? ;_;
Mom told me I should accept my body, but I can't! Well, I'm sure I could...but I don't want to. I think that accepting your body is a shameful thing, too. @_@

What do you guys think? Should I try harder growing up?

Strawberry Sandwich Recipe

Summertime is strawberry season!
Can you ever get enough of this blushing berry? Well, uh...I surely don't! lol
There are all kinds of yumminess that can be made with the magical ingredient ~strawberry~, but would you ever think of a strawberry sandwich? Yes, I said STRAWBERRY SANDWICH!
It might sound unusual but you can't deny that it must be cute, right? ^_^
So here is a tutorial on how to make a cute strawberry sandwich, that even your alpaca will like, lol!
Ingredients
2 slices bread (I use wholegrain toast!)

2 tbsp greek yogurt (for the spread!)

 6 Strawberries

 Spread Variations
Cream cheese
Vanilla Pudding
Marshmallow Fluff

Smear one tablespoon of greek yogurt (or whatever spread you decided to use! ^^) on one side of the bread.

With a knife, part the strawberries in halves.

Then, half the halves! ;D

Arrange the strawberry slices on the bread:
Lay a diagonal row of strawberry slices along the bread. That's where we're going to cut the sandwich later!

Top the slices with a 2nd tablespoon of spread (in my case greek yogurt, yum!) and cover with the other slice of bread. Once that is done, diagonally cut the sandwich.
Make sure you still remember on which side you placed the diagonal row of strawberries, huhu!

So quick & so yummy!
Makes a cute breakfast/snack with a warm cup of milk tea~!

Good luck and have fun cooking my lovely fuzzle fuzzies!
